- Just recently I am getting grey vertical bands appearing at regular
- spacing across my screen. It seems to occur about 30 seconds after
- I boot up the machine from both a cold boot or warm restart.
-
- I don't get funny colours when the machine boots up so it gets
- past the diagnostic checks. I get the bands on both a 1942 and
- a 1960 monitor so it isn't my monitor. The only things which I have
- plugged into my 4000 are an extra diskdrive and a null modem cable.
- I have also noticed that I can't connect to my A500+ using twin and
- my null modem cable.
-
- I have also used my machine with a clean setup to see if any of the
- programs that I run affect it but no luck there.
-
- Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this, or do I just get
- the graphics chips replaced?
-
- Thanks for any help.
