  13. Just recently I am getting grey vertical bands appearing at regular
  14. spacing across my screen.  It seems to occur about 30 seconds after
  15. I boot up the machine from both a cold boot or warm restart.
  16.  
  17. I don't get funny colours when the machine boots up so it gets
  18. past the diagnostic checks.  I get the bands on both a 1942 and
  19. a 1960 monitor so it isn't my monitor.  The only things which I have
  20. plugged into my 4000 are an extra diskdrive and a null modem cable.
  21. I have also noticed that I can't connect to my A500+ using twin and
  22. my null modem cable.

  24. I have also used my machine with a clean setup to see if any of the 
  25. programs that I run affect it but no luck there.

  27. Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this, or do I just get
  28. the graphics chips replaced?
